pork tenderloin filled with feta, cheddar and garlic + salad with apples, cashews and celery
cream of tomato soup!
‘tis the first recipe i tried out of my newly bought book, “the professional chef” by the culinary institute of america.
too good.
my pop picked some blueberries while visiting his summer trailer in the deep forests of finland, and gave them all to me. to good use, it went, blueberry pancakes, i made!
(the update speed still isn’t what it used to be, so please, bear with me)
my summer vacation started with one healthy day at the gym and four in the bar / eating bad / staying up until 7 in the morning playing diablo II or gin rum. so today, i decided to make some shrimp pasta salad. with chicken. and olives. and bell peppers and spring onions. i made a dressing with mayo, lemon, paprika, garlic and oregano with it, too. it was great and i felt great! then i ate a huge pb&j sandwich and now i feel like playing diablo II.
i seem not to get enough of pork. sirloin, with thyme and rosemary oil, them both on that baguette.. yes.
pork sirloin steaks slightly seasoned with only salt and pepper, because the quickly stir-fried forest mushrooms served with them give so much flavor. to the mushrooms i added only a tiny dash of lemon juice. for presentation, added a pinch of coarsely ground black pepper and it made quite a difference - in a positive way.
