this is it: almost ratatouille just about to go in the oven, inspired by the movie ratatouille. i didn’t exactly make any pipérade and substituted one vital ingredient, yellow squash, with yellow pepper due to availability problems.
this accordion-fanned version of ratatouille is actually called confit byaldi.
i’ve never tasted couscous and i read somewhere that it might go nicely with ratatouille, so i’ll make it as a side too. we’ll see how well this goes. i’m starving.
